Earlier today, Pain in the Arsenal published an Arsenal transfer news roundup which featured an interesting segment on Arsenal signing Michael Olise. Mikel Arteta is believed to be reviving his interest in the Crystal Palace winger this summer.

Of course, fans have every reason to be excited about the transfer, should it happen. However, it would undeniably affect the squad in different ways.

Bukayo Saka has had another incredible season. However, it goes without saying that Saka has been overworked by Mikel Arteta. So far during his reign as Arsenal head coach, no player has made more Arsenal appearances than Bukayo Saka.

Therefore, signing Michael Olise will finally afford Saka some much-needed rest, whenever necessary. This will mean that Saka is always raring to go in the bigger games, a facet to his game which has been missing at times this season (through no fault of his own, of course).

Olise is likely to adopt a new role at Arsenal, to afford him more game-time. But it's great to know that Arteta can rely on Olise to cover the right-wing, which is his natural position.
