3. Ben White
Perhaps one of the most underrated signings Arteta has made, but definitely one of the most important, is Ben White. He joined the Gunners from Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2021 for a £50m fee.
Since signing for the club, White has made 122 appearances and scored four goals. He was brought to the club as Arteta's second major signing after Gabriel and was another step on the ladder to completing the rebuild.
His love and dedication to the club cannot be understated. White puts in his best every single game and is so passionate that he has even played through injuries. While he is crucial for the defence, he also offers plenty in attack, constantly making overlapping runs for Bukayo Saka and also scoring the occasional goal.
His switch of position to right back in 2022 must also be appreciated as it allowed for William Saliba to slot into the centre of the Gunners defence. Having become a crucial part of Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team, he is one of the most important signings made by the Spaniard.
