4. Declan Rice

Much like Kai Havertz, Arsenal spent a lot of money to bring Declan Rice to the club. However, it didn't take long for his price tag to be removed from the equation. If anything, Arsenal fans now view the £105m investment as getting him for "half-price" which is only a tiny overstatement.

In hindsight, Mikel Arteta would tap the Arsenal credit card over and over again to sign Declan Rice since he has proven to be the signing of the summer.

This season in Arsenal red, the West Ham United legend has shown incredible improvement as a midfielder. Playing in a more advanced role to the one he was used to at the Hammers, Rice has seen an improvement in his attacking numbers, showing that Mikel Arteta's plan is working.

This season, Declan Rice has scored seven Premier League goals and provided eight assists. Last season with West Ham, the tally was just sour goals and two assists.
