- The Gunners have made some strange transfer decisions under Arteta and there are five signings that stand out as the worst
4. Fabio Vieira
One of the worst signings may be a harsh way to describe Fabio Vieira but it is arguably true. Since signing from Porto for £29.9m in 2022, the midfielder failed to make an impact at the club.
He has scored just three goals and provided nine assists in 49 appearances for Arsenal. He struggled with injury last season but received limited chances even when fit.
Vieira has largely failed to live up to what has been expected of him and as a result, questions have been asked over where his future lies ahead of next season.
