4. Mohamed Elneny

Arsenal fans love Elneny and understandably so. He is a great presence behind the scenes and one of the most likeable characters in football. He does so much for the Arsenal community and without Elneny, the dressing room might not be as united as it has been in recent seasons.

However, if Timber makes this list, it's only fair that Elneny does too. Elneny has missed out on a lot of possible action this season due to his unfortunate injury problems.

Given that this is likely to be his last Arsenal season (considering he runs out of contract in 2024), it would have been nice to see Elneny on the pitch more often, it just hasn't been possible. As per WhoScored, Mohamed Elneny has started just one game for Arsenal all season in the Champions League and across all competitions, has racked up a measly 96 minutes for Arsenal all season.

Regardless, Elneny will be remembered very fondly at Arsenal. He has had some excellent moments and he is welcome back at the club any time. Hopefully, there is a coaching role in the future for him as he would shine in such a role.
