Much was made of the Italian's acquisition last January, but against Liverpool, he again showed his value to the team.
He was a calming influence in the heart of midfield alongside Declan Rice and when the opportunity presented itself, a progressive pass here and there kept the Gunners ticking over nicely.

A Man of the Match performance from Jorginho that might be more impactful than initially thought as efforts like this make us remember that Thomas Partey's injuries continue to plague his Arsenal career.
Luckily, Arteta signed Jorginho and he played a pivotal role in defeating Liverpool.
