Arsenal: 6 winners and 3 losers from Jurrien Timber injury return
By Kian Long
Winner - Mikel Arteta
Mikel Arteta was extremely excited to use Jurrien Timber and after seeing him play in pre-season, this only added to his excitement. As a manager who looks at the game like a chessboard, he will be thrilled to introduce some more versatility to his back-four.
Loser - Takehiro Tomiyasu
Chances are, Tomiyasu will return to match fitness before Timber does. Therefore, he will get a head-start at proving himself upon his return from injury.

Tomiyasu, like Timber, is a versatile full-back who is known to get on with his job, no matter where he's asked to fill in. At the start of the season, it was looking like Tomiyasu's season as he picked up a few appearances and played some important matches. With the Timber return, though, you have to say that Tomiyasu is going to fall down the pecking order again, unless he can put together another good run of performances.
