Arsenal host Brighton at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon and will be looking to continue their winning start to the Premier League season ahead of the international break.

The Gunners were victorious in their last match, defeating Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park. Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey scored in the second half to seal the win for their side. Despite the result, Arsenal fell to third place in the league, with Saturday's opponents currently sitting one place above them.

Mikel Arteta will be keen for his side to sign off for the international break with a third win of the season and there are three key talking points ahead of this matchup.

1. Continue winning start

Arsenal won their first two matches of the season, against the Wolves and Villa, respectively, and they will be eager to keep this run going against Brighton.

With Manchester City already looking incredibly dominant, the Gunners will know they cannot afford to drop as many points as last season. Arteta's side dropped points at this stage last year and this ultimately contributed to them not winning the title. As a result, they will look to avoid this happening again.

The Gunners will also be keen to build momentum, with tough trips to Tottenham and Manchester City coming in quick succession after the international break. It is crucial for Arsenal to continue their winning run against Brighton.
