Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard was pleased with his team's ability to back up their win over Liverpool with a resounding performance against West Ham.

Arsenal have bounced back with authority after their three-game skid and have put themselves firmly back in the title race.

The Gunners put Liverpool to the sword in a 3-1 win a week ago but faced a tricky assignment in West Ham at London Stadium on Sunday.

David Moyes' Hammers had already beaten Mikel Arteta's group twice already this season, but they weren't about to make it three as Arsenal demolished the home side.

After coming off such a resounding win over Liverpool, Odegaard was pleased with the team's ability to maintain the rage.

“It was a really good game and strong performance,” Odegaard said via arsenal.com. “I think coming from a big game, a big win, and to come here and back it up with this performance is a brilliant sign. During the game as well, we just wanted it more and more and I really liked the performance and the mentality of the team."

Arsenal are now in a serious run of form that have seen them rattle off four consecutive wins, while their goal-scoring woes have well and truly been left behind. The Gunners have scored 16 goals in their previous four games, conceding just twice as Arteta's team has found their groove.

The mini-bye trip to Dubai appears to have done wonders for an Arsenal team that, at the time, was struggling to keep its head above water. Well, now, there is no such trouble as the Gunners appear to have found their mojo.

Arsenal are back on the road this weekend as they travel to a struggling Burnley side before their Champions League campaign restarts away at FC Porto in midweek.
