Ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal, PSG have removed one key player from the matchday plans.

Arsenal will host Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening. After a good performance on the road in the last match, Arsenal will be eager to get their first European win of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain are often considered among the favourites to win the competition. However, like Arsenal, they have never won the Champions League.

Luis Enrique, the current manager of Paris Saint-Germain would like to change this. After all, he has experience of winning the Champions League with Barcelona.

However, Luis Enrique will be without one player. PSG have dropped one player from their squad to face Arsenal...

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Luis Enrique has made the executive decision to remove Ousmane Dembele from the team to face Arsenal. It is a disciplinary measure, after the two argued at the weekend.

Luis Enrique has proven time and time again that he is not a manager to be messed with. Even at Barcelona, he stood for no disrespect, even benching Lionel Messi on the odd occasion.

Without a doubt, Paris Saint-Germain being without Ousmane Dembele will come as a boost to Arsenal. After all, they will be without one of their key players, weakening their options in attack.

Ousmane Dembele is a very inconsistent player. He can go through periods of great form, only to hit roadblocks on the occasion. However, this news minimises the risk of Arsenal catching Dembele on a good day.

That said, it is not all doom and gloom for Tuesday evening's visitors. In fact, they have some key players returning to training before visiting the Emirates Stadium. The likes of Marco Asensio, Nuno Mendes and Gianluigi Donnarumma could be in action.

Heading into the second phase of play in the new group format, PSG are ahead of Arsenal. The French side sit in fifteenth on three points, with Arsenal in sixteenth on one point.

To achieve automatic qualification for the knockout stage, Arsenal must finish in eighth place or higher. Failing that, 24th or higher is still within a chance, but additional matches must be played, which is not ideal.
