The rumours linking Arsenal with a move for Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes are unsurprisingly beginning to heat up again. It is believed that Arsenal are even contemplating a player-plus-cash deal to get the move over the line. That said, here is the potential Arsenal lineup with Bruno Guimaraes, in case fans weren't excited by the rumours enough...

GK: David Raya. There are talks about Arsenal potentially signing Andriy Lunin from Real Madrid, so there could be more competition here next season. However, having won the Golden Glove last season, all the pointers are that Arsenal will sign David Raya permanently.

RB: Ben White. It is a pretty safe bet to place Ben White at right-back, considering he has made the position his own over the last few seasons. He is not competing in internationals this summer so he should be fresh for 2024/25.

CB: William Saliba. Deservedly, Saliba was called up to action for France in their EURO 2024 campaign. He played well in his first game, so he should return to Arsenal full of confidence.

CB: Gabriel. Has experience of playing with Bruno Guimaraes with the Brazil national team. Gabriel will be key to welcoming Guimaraes to the Arsenal team, should he be signed.

LB: Jurrien Timber. Arsenal fans are understandably very excited for Jurrien Timber to return to first-team action next season, after missing the majority of the last campaign through injury.
