5. Kai Havertz

It's taken Havertz time to adjust and find his right position. However, the Germany international has popped up with some excellent contributions in recent weeks. Now that he's found his confidence and goal-scoring mojo, Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans expect great things from him. After all, it wasn't £60m down the drain...

4. David Raya

Many were opposed to the David Raya signing in the 2023 summer transfer window but he is starting to prove those doubters wrong now. The Spaniard is the number one goalkeeper for Arsenal and if you turn a blind eye to what that means for Aaron Ramsdale, you will realise that Raya brings a lot to this Arsenal team.

He is an excellent presence in the box when it comes to set pieces and his quick-thinking makes him an elite goalkeeper. Also, he has great distribution, which has helped the Gunners on a few occasions this season.

3. Jorginho

Jorginho was signed in January of 2023 to fill in for Thomas Partey, who was injured. At the time, many saw him as a short-term signing but he's proven himself to be a reliable option for Arsenal. A lot of the time, he's the best player on the pitch when he plays.

However, if the Gunners want to keep him, they need to act fast. He is one of the Arsenal players with contracts expiring in 2024.
