Alexander Isak commits his future to Newcastle United
One striker who Arsenal would love to sign this summer is Alexander Isak. The Newcastle United and Sweden striker already boasts great Premier League experience, so he has what it takes to turn into a key member of Mikel Arteta's revolution.
However, Arsenal have hit an obstacle and the obstacle is presented from the player himself. According to inews, Alexander Isak is committed to Newcastle United, as he sees his involvement there as part of a long-term project.
In his own words, Isak said: “Yeah, of course I want to be [with Newcastle] in the future. I came here for the project, I absolutely love playing here, I really feel at home. I want to finish this season in a good way for me and the team. I love playing here.”
Thankfully, the Gunners have already drawn up a HUGE shortlist of striker targets, in case anything like this happened.
Joshua Zirkzee wants a move to AC Milan
Another striker who Arsenal are interested in signing is Joshua Zirkzee. The Bologna striker has been making huge strides in Europe this season, emerging into one of the best talents on the market.
However, much like Isak, the 22-year-old Dutchman envisions his future elsewhere. Unlike Isak, though, he does want to transfer - He just doesn't value Arsenal and his other suitors as highly as AC Milan. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Zirkzee is keen to join AC Milan, despite interest from Arsenal AND an offer from Manchester United.

Finally, a striker who Arsenal who could actually sign. Viktor Gyokeres is high on the striker shortlist, as Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar are big fans of him. Therefore, it will be music to their ears that he is available to be signed.
Well, Sporting Lisbon will have no say in the matter if Arsenal trigger his £85.6m release clause. According to Caught Offside, this is the only way that Sporting will let go of their star striker, so it's the route which Arsenal may need to take.
