After concluding another excellent season as Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta will be hopeful he can add more trophies to his personal cabinet next season. That said, fans of the club can expect the Arsenal transfer news to heat up between now and the summer transfer window, since the window presents a golden opportunity for Mikel Arteta to elevate his squad.
While this may be an age-old cliche and quite frankly a boring one for Arsenal fans at this point, the club must sign an out-and-out centre forward. It is the obvious call for any outsider looking in but thankfully for fans, Mikel Arteta and the club are not unaware of this observation and if anything, they side with it.
Heading into the summer transfer window, it is believed to be a transfer priority for Mikel Arteta to bring a new goal-scorer to the Emirates Stadium, with the belief that this is the final missing piece of the puzzle which could return the Premier League trophy to North London.

Arsenal transfer target has £56m release clause - No brainer for Mikel Arteta
According to a report from Florian Plettenberg, RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško now has a €65m (£56m) release clause in his contract. This release clause is active from this summer and should Arsenal meet the release clause, they are able to skip to player negotiations.
In his own words, Plettenberg said: Now the amount of Benjamin Sesko‘s release clause for the summer is finally set: €65m for a transfer in summer! Contract valid until 2028. It’s a performance-related release clause."
Arsenal sent scouts to watch Benjamin Šeško's performance at the weekend. The scouting team were treated to a fine display, as although his side dropped points in the Bundesliga, Šeško scored a goal. It is not a surprise to see Šeško on the scoresheet since he has made a habit out of it this season, netting an impressive 18 goals across all competitions for Leipzig this season.
It would be unjust to describe Šeško as the "perfect signing" given that he still has a long way to go in his career. However, it is a signing which makes sense for Arsenal. At a close-to-£56m release clause, he would be one of the cheaper options in this position and having proven he can score goals in a top league, would benefit Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta should view Šeško as a project, much like he has with Kai Havertz. If the two can strike a relationship with each other, then Arteta will have two young strikers on hand, who provide an excellent plan A and plan B to each and every game.
Do you think Arsenal should sign Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig?
