Now that the 2023/24 season is over, fans can expect the Arsenal transfer news to come in thick and fast. One player who is expected to play a big part in Arsenal's summer transfer window is Benjamin Šeško, the Slovenian international striker who currently represents RB Leipzig.

Benjamin Šeško finished the season with 18 goals and two assists across all competitions. It was a respectable campaign from the 20-year-old and one which understandably sees him high on the transfer shortlist set out by Mikel Arteta.

Ageing at just 20 years old, Šeško has already made great strides in the Bundesliga. Of course, he was always bound to attract interest from the Premier League with his impressive goal-scoring form but it must be stated that there is still a long way to go in Šeško's development. He is not the complete package yet and he knows this better than most.

Therefore, Šeško has an important decision on his hands. Does he jump ship this early into his career by playing in the Premier League or does he spend more time developing with RB Leipzig?

Well, only time will tell. However, Arsenal fans will be glad to know that this is a decision which Šeško plans to make soon.

Arsenal transfer target Benjamin Šeško to make big decision, says Fabrizio Romano

According to an update from Fabrizio Romano, Benjamin Šeško will make the stick or twist decision before the upcoming EURO 2024 competition. His nation Slovenia will kick off their first European match on June 16th, as they are due to meet England in the group stage on the 25th of the same month.

Benjamin Šeško's agent has confirmed that a decision on his client's future will be made before the European competition kicks off. Needless to say, Šeško is expected to play a big part as he hopes to take his inspired goal-scoring form in the Bundesliga to the international stage.

From Arsenal's perspective, Šeško could be the perfect option to fill the centre forward role. Of course, Kai Havertz has filled this position well, especially in 2024, but Mikel Arteta would ideally like for an out-and-out centre forward to provide 20+ goals in a Premier League season. This is expected to be the missing piece of Arsenal's title-winning puzzle.
