RB: Ben White

Including a natural centre-back as the right-back in this lineup would be a weird shout, if Ben White didn't make the position his own. The Englishman, who recently put pen to paper over a new contract extension, has been an excellent asset to Arsenal in the right-back position.

CB: William Saliba

William Saliba was signed by Unai Emery, but given his breakthrough by Mikel Arteta after successful loan spells. The Frenchman, described as a "Rolls Royce defender" is very much in the world-class calibre.

CB: Gabriel Magalhaes

Consistently a great performer and one of the best defenders of the Emirates era. The Brazil centre-back is in his fourth season at the Emirates Stadium and he has improved season by season.

LB: Kieran Tierney

This one might get a bit of heat but in truth, Arsenal have not been blessed with the best left-backs in recent history. Between Zinchenko and Tierney, Tierney must get the nod. He was one of the club's best players during a poor period, whereas Zinchenko is one of the club's worst players during a great period.
