Burnley vs Arsenal preview: Prediction, team news & lineups
- Arsenal travel to Premier League strugglers Burnley on Saturday afternoon
- Gunners aiming for fifth-straight win
- Burnley were beaten 3-1 in the reverse fixture
Arsenal are aiming to secure their fifth Premier League win on the bounce when they visit Burnley on Saturday.
The Gunners were once veering upon a crisis before the winter break, but they've since enjoyed an impressive resurgence over the past month, scoring 16 goals in their previous four victories. They followed up their statement 3-1 win over Liverpool with an emphatic 6-0 victory at West Ham on Sunday.
Arsenal's recent upsurge suggests they'll be a part of what's poised to be an exciting three-way title race this term.
Saturday's opponents, Burnley, have endured a pretty wretched season on their return to the top flight. The side that played with so much swagger have evolved into a much meeker iteration of themselves this term. The Clarets sit 19th in the table having amassed a meagre 13 points from 24 games.
They're bound for the drop.

Burnley team news
Burnley have a few long-standing injury concerns heading into Saturday's clash. The Clarets are still without Luca Koleosho due to a knee issue, while Nathan Redmond is also out for the long haul.
Defenders Jordan Beyer and Charlie Taylor are both doubts, while Lyle Foster is out for an extended period.
Arsenal team news
The Gunners had seven first-teamers out injured last Sunday at West Ham, and only Takehiro Tomiyasu is likely to return to the matchday squad.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, who are nursing calf and knee injuries respectively, are unlikely to be risked ahead of the trip to Porto next Wednesday.
Thomas Partey, Fabio Vieira, and Jurrien Timber all remain out. Emile Smith Rowe's status is unclear after rolling his ankle and missing Sunday's win.

Burnley vs Arsenal score prediction
Burnley fought admirably in the reverse fixture before falling to a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates. Vincent Kompany's side, however, have performed slightly better away from home. They've amassed a mere five points at Turf Moor this season.
The arrival of David Fofana has handed the Clarets an extra outlet in attack, with the striker assiting once and scoring twice in three appearances for the club so far.
However, despite Fofana's threat, Burnley should be no match for the imperious Gunners, who are hitting their stride. I suspect the visitors will be able to keep the hosts at arm's length throughout while asserting total control.
Mikel Arteta will aim to wrap the contest up early on so he can rest a couple of players ahead of Wednesday's trip to Porto.
