Arsenal have been active in the summer transfer window. Since landing David Raya, Tommy Setford and Riccardo Calafiori, they are now believed to be closer to signing Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino. However, it's not only incomings as there have also been a few outgoings for Arsenal, with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Nuno Tavares leaving. Fabrizio Romano has claimed there could be one more.

Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal goalkeeper will leave & it's not Aaron Ramsdale

According to the Italian transfer expert on X (formerly Twitter), Estonian goalkeeper Karl Hein is set to join La Liga side Real Valladolid on loan. The salary of Karl Hein will be covered by the Spanish side, which is likely a reason why Arsenal are inclined to allow the loan.

Karl Hein is yet to make his first Premier League appearance. In fact, he has made just 10 league appearances at senior level, five of those for Nomme United and the other five for Reading. That said, he is an experienced international professional already, making 30 appearances for the Estonia international side. Pretty impressive for a 22-year-old.

Hein has been active throughout pre-season for Arsenal. He has been afforded a surge in game-time while Arsenal have toured the USA, this is due to both Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya being granted extended holiday due to them reaching the EURO 2024 final, despite not playing for England or Spain in the final.

Aaron Ramsdale is believed to be on his way out this summer, with David Raya making his move from Brentford permanent last month. However, where the England international will end up remains to be seen.

Considering Artur Okonkwo has also joined Wrexham on a free deal, it could be three goalkeepers who Arsenal lose this summer, providing Karl Hein and Aaron Ramsdale complete their moves. That said, Fabrizio Romano has only provided the green light for Karl Hein and nothing yet on Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale's departure is merely speculation & a bit of common sense at this stage.

Do you think Arsenal are right to loan out Karl Hein?
