4. Lee Dixon

Former Arsenal manager George Graham signed Lee Dixon from Stoke City in the January transfer window of 1988. It was an under-the-rader transfer and not many expected Dixon to leave behind the legacy at Arsenal that he did.

At Highbury Stadium, Dixon worked hard and for a long time to earn his place in the first team but in total he made 458 league appearances at right-back. An incredible legacy and to retire at Arsenal was a fitting tribute.

3. Jens Lehmann

Lehmann did not originally retire at Arsenal but the professional he was, decided to come out of his original retirement to help out Arsenal during a time of need. In March of 2011, Lehmann signed a temporary contract with Arsenal until the end of the season to help out between the sticks.

Lehmann showcases his love for Arsenal in the best way and although he didn't *technically* retire at Arsenal, he deserves a place in this list for coming out of retirement to help the club in a time of need. Oh, his golden Premier League trophy stands him in good stead too.
