Pain in the Arsenal revealed this month that Arsenal planned to offer Ethan Nwaneri a record-breaking contract, making him their most expensive academy graduate (even surpassing the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Bukayo Saka).

Time-frame revealed for Arsenal to offer Hale End teen record-breaking deal
According to a report by Football Insider, Ethan Nwaneri will put pen to paper over his first professional contract THIS WEEK. Nwaneri was involved in action for England for their U17 team. Therefore, when he returns to Arsenal, he is expected to sign the deal, cementing his future as an Arsenal player.
From the fans' perspective, this is excellent and exciting news. Nwaneri has only shown positive signs of brilliance in his action for the first-team. His work in the academy goes without saying but to step up when he was just 16 years old and play 13 minutes of action against West Ham United this season, bossing the midfield, shows his maturity levels at a young age.
Mikel Arteta will, in no doubt, have a development plan in mind for Nwaneri. Generational talents like him don't come around often, so he is tipped to be a future star.
While it's still too early to compare, Arsenal fans saw shades of Cesc in the way Nwaneri can control the ball in tight areas and drive the team forward with his close dribbling ability.
Do you think Ethan Nwaneri has a bright future in line for Arsenal?
