3. Bukayo Saka vs Ben Davies
Injury to Destiny Udogie means the hosts will need to improvise at full-back, and few players can exploit that quite like Bukayo Saka.
Despite not grabbing the headlines lately, Saka remains a lively presence and knows how to deliver on derby day having scored twice in the reverse fixture.
His strength, close control and ability to go inside or out might (hopefully) leave Ben Davies bamboozled on the left and hurt a somewhat porous Sp*rs defence, while the support he gains from White should only add to the home-team predicament.
Udogie’s absence is a big blow as he has impressed in his debut season and there are no like-for-like replacements for him. Of course, Davies remains a steady option even with his limited minutes of late (no appearances since February) and has the experience to keep Saka at bay, but he does not bear the same attacking threat as Udogie and will struggle if Postecoglou insists on a front-foot style (I’m not complaining...).
Saka nearly won the game on his own against Tottenham last time. Maybe a makeshift defence will see him complete the job this weekend.
