Arsenal travel to face Manchester United on Sunday afternoon as they begin their 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
The Gunners concluded their pre-season with a 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao last weekend. A first club goal for Viktor Gyokeres and a fine finish from Bukayo Saka had Mikel Arteta's side cruising at half-time before Kai Havertz sealed the victory in the late stages of the game.
As he and his side look to begin a hopeful title charge in the strongest possible way, Arteta is likely to field a strong starting lineup that can withstand what will be a tough test at Old Trafford.
Here's what we think the Arsenal team could look like against Man United.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Man United (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper & Defenders
David Raya (GK) - He will start his third straight season as his side's number one choice between the sticks and will be looking to replicate his efforts of the last two campaigns.
Jurrien Timber (RB) - Having made his return from injury in the latter stages of pre-season, he will be ready to start the season at right back. Despite Ben White's impressive performances throughout the summer, Timber will be the first choice on the right side of defence.
William Saliba (CB) - Looks solid and ready to bounce back from what was a slightly shaky season last term. He will be a crucial part of the defence against United and throughout the coming campaign.
Gabriel Magalhaes (CB) - Like Timber, he came back from injury late on in pre-season and should now be prepared to begin the season as a starter.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (LB) - He is Arsenal's best left back and will start their opening game as he looks to continue his development as a first team player.
Midfielders
Martin Zubimendi (DM) - A new addition, he looked solid throughout pre-season and should make his competitive Arsenal debut at the base of midfield against United.
Martin Odegaard (CM) - Despite some positive performances from Ethan Nwaneri, the captain will be Arteta's preferred choice on the right side of midfield and should start Sunday's game.
Declan Rice (CM) - He has developed into one of the world's best midfielders in his first two seasons with the Gunners and will continue to impress in the middle of the park this term.
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) - After suffering an injury that disrupted his outstanding start to last season, he will be looking to begin this campaign in similar fashion and go one step further. Saka will start the matchup with United on the right flank.
Viktor Gyokeres (ST) - He grabbed his first goal for his new side in the win over Athletic Bilbao and will be hoping to showcase his deadly goalscoring as he starts against the side that were initially tipped to sign him this summer.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - Following a mixed pre-season campaign, he will start on the left side of attack against United. Noni Madueke has been projected to play in the area, but Arteta shouldn't decide to drop Martinelli just yet.
