If there was one thing which has stood out for Arsenal so far this season, it's been their impressive set-piece routine. Often highlighted in this transformation is set piece coach Nicolas Jover, and it's an element of Arsenal's game which Luis Enrique and PSG must brace for tonight.

In the quarter-final, Arsenal scored two set-piece goals. Of course, there were moments of individual brilliance from Declan Rice, which can be rendered anomalous, but there's no saying that this set-piece success can't be replicated from a corner or indirect free kick... Arsenal has scored plenty this season, after all.

Speaking about his pre-match preparation with PSG, Luis Enrique admitted one flaw which Mikel Arteta should be looking to pounce on.

Luis Enrique admits to major flaw in his Arsenal vs PSG preparation

Indeed, according to Luis Enrique himself, PSG has not prepared for defending against set pieces before facing Arsenal. In his own words, Enrique said: "No, I haven’t planned to work on set pieces because I’ve known Arsenal for a very long time,"

"We’ve already played them this season. The qualities and flaws that have got us this far are the same."

It is difficult to predict exactly how this match will pan out. It's one of those games which, frankly, anybody could win. And that's not an overstatement, it really is tight between Arsenal and PSG right now.

However, it's not a ridiculous statement to think that set pieces will play a key role in the match tonight. With Arsenal being the experts and PSG seemingly not preparing for them, it could be an avenue for Arsenal to exploit.

Arsenal will take the goals from wherever they get them. Whether they're from open play or set pieces, fair or unfair, stylistic or fluke, Mikel Arteta will be a happy man if Arsenal can get the win against his former club.

In games with tight margins like this one, beggars can't be choosers. Not only are the margins tight between Arsenal and PSG, but the stakes are high with a place in the Champions League final up for grabs. So, if set pieces are the best bet at scoring, then Arsenal should hedge their bets there.

So, strap in and get your popcorn at the ready. If Arsenal hear these comments from Enrique and take them seriously, then we could be seeing Nicolas Jover doing Nicolas Jover things on the touchline.
