Even though Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table, in the final of the EFL Cup, doing well in the FA Cup, and the team that finished first in the Champions League table, there are still things to improve on, somehow.

As good as Arsenal have been, they have not really been convincing in quite a few games. Some games are unnecessarily close, while some have either a weakened attack or a error-prone defense, and that just would not change.

They started the season really well, actually, recording convincing wins over Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, but since then, things have changed.

They are still a great team, and probably the best in Europe, but they need to be more convincing and ruthless in front of goal, and less error-prone defending their own - perhaps similar to how they attacked Tottenham in the recent derby.

This may not solve the entire problem, but there is an Arsenal duo that could at least provide some sort of a solution to the first problem - a labored attack.

Let's not beat around the bush here: Arsenal have rarely looked convincing in the attack. There have been some games where they have scored more than two or three goals, but it has largely been a labored offense, and that is something Arteta would want to change as soon as possible.

There is a new player that can be thrown into the mix soon, though, and he could prove to be a game-changer for Arteta, when coupled with a superstar in the making.

In the last two seasons, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have enjoyed a good partnership on the pitch. The fluid movement from both players brings the best out of them, and they complement each other really well due to their advanced understanding of the game.

As soon as Havertz is finally back, Arteta can finally use this duo on a more consistent basis.

Obviously, Viktor Gyokeres would still have to play for the things he provides on the pitch, along with the hope that he can keep his scoring streak going, but in the games where the Swedish striker is rested, Havertz and Saka could be the saving grace for Arsenal.

It is clear that the players are talented. Their movement, especially Havertz, with the way he glides in and around tight spaces, is elite, and those things play a huge part when the team is trying to break down a low-block or a well-structured defense.

That is what Arsenal are going to go up against most of the time, so Arteta needs to figure out a way to incorporate that.

While Gyokeres is on the pitch, even then, Arteta could do something like that. Positioning Havertz just behind the striker will unlock spaces not just for them, but it would help Saka move into dangerous positions more freely.

This is a set-up that has worked in one or two games for Arteta this season, and it remains to be seen whether he shows more faith in it going forward.
