When addressing Bukayo Saka's injury scare to the media, Thomas Tuchel had a wide smile on his face. He could only speak positively about Saka's injury comeback, and he revealed he is as close to match fitness as he could get, having trained at a high intensity over the last two days.
"Bukayo is getting better and better," said Tuchel. "He's more and more free in his movements. He feels no more pain. He was able to do both our training sessions the last two days on highest level, so he's ready to go without telling you if he will start or come from the bench."
"He is ready to go."

Arsenal fans finally got the Bukayo Saka confirmation they needed
This is great news for England fans and, indeed, Arsenal fans. There are just two group stage games remianing, but England would secure their place in the next round with a win tonight.
Bukayo Saka missed the lineup of the opening game, allowing for Thomas Tuchel to choose Noni Madueke instead. Saka still made an impact from the bench, though, immediately assisting Marcus Rashford for the last goal of the game.

Bukayo Saka has been known to play through injury to help out Arsenal. Thankfully, though, England did not need him to repeat the same at the World Cup.
Bukayo Saka decision only emphasised Thomas Tuchel's brilliance
Thomas Tuchel has a carefully selected squad, one that focuses just as much on the substitutes as it does the starting lineup. Certain players were left out, but this was to maintain squad harmony and balance. Admittedly, it's impossible to criticise Tuchel's squad selection after game one.
Whether or not Saka starts tonight is a different story. As grand as Tuchel's news was, it doesn't give Saka a golden ticket into the starting lineup. Tuchel might choose to rest him for one more game before trusting him from the start.
After all, Saka is one of England's most important players. At the last World Cup, he was a real standout for the Three Lions. He proved that he remains important to the squad when he assisted from the bench last week.
Keeping Saka fresh for the knockouts, where England will face much tougher opposition, is of utmost importance.
In many ways, Tuchel has done Mikel Arteta a favour by resting Saka. It was unnecessary to put his body through more stress in game one, when Madueke was more than up for the task.
