Christos Tzolis has been confirmed as Arsenal's third signing of the summer and as he joins up with his new teammates, supporters will be wondering what role he will play for his new club.
The Gunners have brought in the Greek international as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who joined Beşiktaş last week, but it isn't currently clear how he will fit into the squad given his arguably young age and relative inexperience at the top level.
Supporters will be excited to see Tzolis finally through the door after a month of rumours and reports, but as he now gets down to business during his side's pre-season campaign, we take a look at the three roles he could play at Arsenal.
Starting left winger, Leandro Trossard role, benchwarmer

1. Starting left winger
With Trossard gone, Tzolis is just one of two out-and-out left wing options for the Gunners alongside Gabriel Martinelli and with the Brazilian underperforming for a number of seasons, a case could be made for his Greek counterpart to be a starter.
As a direct attacking winger who is capable of beating defenders on his own or by linking up with his teammates, he would offer plenty to Arsenal's attack and something that they have been missing for some time.
His numbers at Brugge make a great case for him to be a starter, but there may be some hesitation for him to be thrown straight into the starting lineup though. However, if he can prove himself, there's no reason for him not to take on that role.
2. The Trossard role
Viewed as a direct replacement for the Belgian, Tzolis could take on what may be viewed as 'the Trossard role'.
During his time at Arsenal, the winger was never really an outright starter or bench player as he made a number of appearances from the off or as a substitute.
Some will argue his best moments came off the bench when he demonstrated his clear ability as a clutch player and there is potential for Tzolis to fill that void.
With his goalscoring ability, Mikel Arteta will know he can always rely on the number 17 from kick-off or off the bench.
3. Benchwarmer with minutes for experience
Having already played in the Premier League with Norwich City with limited impact and with the majority of his experience coming outside of Europe's top five leagues, some feel Tzolis isn't ready to be a crucial player in Arteta's setup.
As he has come in from the Belgian league, there would be a possibility he could be relied on as a backup option, especially if a better left winger is eventually brought in.
Tzolis will get plenty of chances and minutes, but he might not be relied on as a major option instantly.
