And he's spot on, to be honest.

Arsenal is flying high right now. Understandably so, the confidence is through the roof in North London. But make no mistake about it, Arsenal, alongside many other teams, have been in this position before.

It is important, crucial even, to take a holistic approach. While yes, the Gunners ARE the best team in the world right now, what's important is maintaining that going forward. The work is yet to be done; it hasn't been done yet.

Truth be told, it is a long season. Arsenal has played some terrific games against the likes of Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Tottenham, but there will be further tests down the line. It is only November, a concern that no Arsenal fan wants to admit.

But Vincent Kompany wasn't shy to admit it. Speaking after the game, the Bayern Munich manager wasn't afraid to admit that he isn't concerned about talk of the best club in the world.

In his own words, Kompany said: "I don't think any of us want to be the best team in November. We're trying to... build last season towards being there in the important moments. For us, we get to show how we react now and how this one will make us improve."

It is certainly true that the season is not yet decided. In fact, it is far from being decided.

There is every likelihood that, if both teams continue their current momentum, Arsenal could meet Bayern Munich later in the competition. Heck, it might even end up being the final.

That will be the true test, and it's fair to say that Bayern Munich has more experience in dealing with large-scale tests like that than Arsenal does.

However, Arsenal has overcome its fair share of adversity in recent seasons. They have come painstakingly close the last few times, so Mikel Arteta will be hungrier than ever to achieve success right now.

As an Arsenal fan, the biggest concern will always be carrying momentum. As great as Arsenal has been, there is always an innate fear that no fan wants to admit right now, that it could all come crumbling down.

This season feels different from previous ones, but there is always a tentative approach when discussing Arsenal. To be frank, that will be the case until Mikel Arteta wins something of note.

So, yes, Vincent Kompany is right. Arsenal fans have every right to be happy right now, but you are only as good as the game ahead of you.
