These kits are classic, not because of the enormous JVC across the front, but because of what happened this year. Arsene Wenger, Le Prof, the Boss, the one and only Frenchman that managed to forever impact English football, joined Arsenal from Monaco.

As if setting the trend for the years to come, one of Arsene Wenger’s first moves was to bring in Patrick Vieira, who would captain Arsenal to the Invincible 2003/4 season.
Arsene Wenger was absolutely revolutionary to Arsenal, solidifying “the Arsenal way” as a type of play that became a standard any time the Gunners hit the pitch.
While they only finished third, it became apparent that Arsene Wenger was going to take this club places.
