Arsenal take on La Liga side Villarreal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening as they continue their pre-season campaign back on home turf.
The Gunners fell to a disappointing defeat in their last outing, losing 1-0 to north London rivals Tottenham in the final game of their tour of Asia. They had previously beaten AC Milan and Newcastle.
As Mikel Arteta's side look to bounce back from the minor slip-up, there are three key talking points ahead of their matchup with the Yellow Submarine.
1. Another glimpse of Gyokeres

Viktor Gyokeres made his Gunners debut as a substitute in the defeat to Tottenham and will likely make his first appearance at the Emirates Stadium against Villarreal, offering fans another glimpse at him in the famous red and white.
Arteta is keen to ease the Swede into action so it's likely he will appear from the bench once again while Kai Havertz is expected to start as his side's striker.
However, Gyokeres should be provided with a better chance this time round. He played just under 15 minutes against Spurs, but is likely to be given more of an opportunity for this matchup. Regardless of how long he plays, supporters will be excited to see him play more football for Arsenal.
