Arsenal are back at the Emirates Stadium as they host Villarreal in a friendly on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners will be looking to bounce back from the defeat they suffered against Tottenham in the concluding game of their tour of Asia. Mikel Arteta's side had won their first two games, but slipped up against their north London rivals.
With the season growing closer, Arteta will be eager to have his squad ready and as a result is likely to field a stronger side at the Emirates, likely one that will be reminiscent of the lineup that could start in the opening game against Manchester United.
Here is the Arsenal team that could take on Villarreal.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Villarreal (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper & Defenders
David Raya (GK) - Solidified as the number one and will continue between the sticks against the Spanish side.
Ben White (RB) - Looked good throughout most of the Asia tour and with Jurrien Timber still injured, he is likely to continue on the right side of defence. He will hope to continue his fine link-up with Bukayo Saka.
William Saliba (CB) - Like Raya, his position in defence is cemented and he will start at centre back as he continues to prepare for the new season.
Jakub Kiwior (CB) - Gabriel Magalhaes is still recovering from injury while Riccardo Calafiori is a doubt so he will remain in the side. He impressed during the tour of Asia so will look to do the same amid his uncertain future in north London.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (LB) - Back in front of the fans that supported him throughout last season, he is likely to start at left back. Tipped to remain his side's first choice option in the position, he will look to impress again.
Midfielders
Martin Zubimendi (DM) - With him likely to be Arsenal's first-choice option at the base of midfield ahead of Christian Norgaard, he will continue in the starting XI. Making his Emirates debut, he will look to continue fitting into his new side.
Martin Odegaard (CM) - After some positive moments in pre-season, the skipper should continue in his usual advanced midfield role ahead of a big campaign for him.
Declan Rice (CM) - The Gunners' 2024/25 player of the season will be looking to bounce back from what was a relatively poor performance against Spurs.
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) - Was one of few players to threaten the Spurs' backline and will look to do the same to Villarreal. He enjoyed a good time in Asia and he should start on Wednesday to continue his form.
Kai Havertz (ST) - Despite Viktor Gyokeres making his Gunners debut last time out, Havertz is likely to continue up top. The Swede is still being eased in and that should allow his German counterpart the chance to fight for his place.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - He put in a lacklustre performance against Tottenham, but with Leandro Trossard a doubt due to injury, he will likely continue on the left flank.
