Anne Hathaway was born in New York City, but there are not many bigger celebrity Arsenal fans. The actress who has starred in the likes of The Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada, and The Dark Knight Rises has become a key voice on Arsenal matters on social media.
Hathaway regularly posts about the Gunners and recently expressed her delight at a surprise goalscorer. She posted on Instagram, "special shoutout to Owen Goal."
Arsenal defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 in their last game, thanks to an own goal from Georginio Rutter. Earlier in the month, the Gunners defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers by the same scoreline with no Arsenal players on the scoresheet. Sam Johnstone and Yerson Mosquera both scored own goals to give the Gunners the victory.

It is just as well that Arsenal have had opposition players putting the ball in the back of their own nets. Viktor Gyokeres is yet to get up to speed with the Premier League. Mikel Arteta would have been hoping he would have scored more than his five league goals so far.
Midfielder Mikel Merino has had to fill in up front for the Gunners recently. However, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are set to return from injury and could feature against Aston Villa tonight.

Lewis Hamilton is a notable sports star who is also a fan of the club.
Hathaway reportedly supports Arsenal due to them being the team her family supports. With constant references to Arsenal both in the media, and on her personal social media, Arsenal fans need no reminding that Hathaway is one of their own.
