Arsenal have properly strengthened their squad for this season, and it is no surprise that everyone thinks they will be up there for every title in existence.
The Gunners have made smart signings this season, and it is clear to see why everyone is actually wondering whether this is the season they break their curse.
From two brilliant defensive additions in Piero Hincapie and Cristian Mosquera, to a progressive passer in Martin Zubimendi and a cold-blooded goalscorer in Victor Gyokeres - among others - they have made themselves even better contenders than they have been in previous years.
Meanwhile, it is the time for them to sell players. They have been looking to sell a number of players already. Now, though, they have added two more players to that list, should a suitable offer arrive on the deadline day.
Zinchenko and Trossard can now be called surplus to requirements
According to Alex Howell of BBC, Arsenal's 'to sell' list included the likes of Jakub Kiwior, Fabio Viera and Albert Sambi Lokonga. Now, they will also consider selling Oleksandr Zinchenko and Leandro Trossard, should a reasonable offer arrive in the remaining hours of the window.
This does not mean that they will stop looking at the transfer market for potential openings and opportunities, but their focus is on sales at the moment.
Arsenal's squad is one of the deepest in not just the Premier League, but all of Europe, so it makes sense why the club wants to make sales when they still can.
Kiwior is very close to a move to Porto either way, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, but they have also added Trossard and Zinchenko's name to the list as a way to make some extra cash.
Zinchenko is not expected to play that many minutes for Arsenal this season, as they now have two exceptional options there already. Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly are great options in that position.
If that were not enough, Arsenal have also signed Hincapie, who can play as a left-back if needed. I guess it is fair to say they are covered there.
For Trossard, it is not as certain as Zinchenko, but after signing Eberechi Eze - who will presumably play as a left winger - Arsenal have two really good options on that side as well. Eze and Gabriel Martinelli will take up the majority of minutes in that position, but Trossard can still feature here and there.
It remains to be seen what happens to the two players. It is fair to say, though, that Arsenal have certainly done a fantastic job in getting these exceptional players in. What they need to focus on is getting a few out, too.
