Arsenal could look to focus on developing their academy in the winter transfer window with much of their activity this month likely to revolve around their youth setup.
For those players that didn't secure moves away in the summer, January usually provides youngsters with the opportunity to agree loan deals that see them gain experience in the second half of the season.
It looks as if the Gunners will be prioritising finding their academy stars temporary homes this month, as well as looking to bolster their own youth setup with one or two possible signings.
Arsenal could prioritise youth in winter window

Arsenal have already had one player return from a loan deal this month with another set to come back to Hale End in a matter of weeks.
Maldini Kacurri has now returned from a successful loan spell at Morecambe. While the Shrimps have struggled in this season's National League, currently sat 22nd in the table, the Albania international impressed many during his time in the fifth tier.
He became a fan favourite at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, being named the club's Player of the Month on two occasions. Morecambe are keen to bring him back for the remainder of the campaign, but The Athletic report a number of clubs higher up the pyramid are interested in him with both loan and permanent moves set to be under consideration.
Harrison Dudziak is set to return from his month long loan at fellow National League club Braintree Town on 21 January, having joined them ahead of Christmas. Multiple clubs in the Football League have made enquiries about his potential availability in the closing stages of the window.
Outgoings won't be the Gunners' only priority with one youngster sitting at the top of their list of targets this month. Having first monitored him in the summer, Arsenal remain interested in signing Igor Tyjon during the winter window.
The young striker prospect could leave Blackburn Rovers for free at the end of the season after rejecting several offers to sign a professional contract, potentially allowing the Gunners the perfect opportunity to secure his signature.
Mikel Arteta's side have already secured a number of talents for the future in recent months, signing Victor Ozhianvuna from Shamrock Rovers and Ecuadorian twin brothers Edwin and Holger Quintero from Independiente del Valle.
There is a possibility Arsenal could explore potential loan moves for the likes of Andre Harriman-Annous, Cam'ron Ismail, Josh Nichols and Alexei Rojas, who could all benefit from experience of first team football, but Kacurri, Dudziak and Tyjon will be at the top of their list of priorities over the coming month.
