As Arsenal go into the January transfer window top of the Premier League, there isn't many changes needed within their setup.
Their heavy spending and strong recruitment in the summer saw them bolster their squad depth to the maximum, leaving no real additions necessary. However, Mikel Arteta has confirmed he is open to any options that arise over the next month.
With the Gunners' first team fully stacked, it is likely any transfers they pursue would be short term options or ones for the future, but there is the odd top player they could go after.
There is a real likelihood that Arteta's side sign no one in January and rely on the current squad to see out the remainder of the season, but there is no denying Arsenal have a number of names on their hit list.
Here's a full list of the Gunners' transfer targets for the 2026 winter window.
Rodrigo Mendoza

Arsenal have been monitoring Elche's wonderkid Rodrigo Mendoza since late November and they could make a move for him this month.
The young midfielder has been labelled 'the next Pedri' by many and he would certainly be a great addition for the Gunners, providing depth for the likes of Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and Eberechi Eze.
There is no doubt Arteta's side would face a lot of competition for the youngster, but a reported £17.5m release clause could be enough to prompt them to make their move quickly.
Jérémy Jacquet

It was reported last summer that Arsenal held an interest in Rennes defender Jérémy Jacquet and they were said to be prepared to continue watching him if they did not sign him.
The Gunners invested heavily in their defence in the previous transfer window, bringing in Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapié, but with the Spaniard, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes spending time out injured this season, another defensive addition wouldn't go amiss.
However, as the France youth international extended his contract less than a year ago, he would most definitely be a pricy option for Arsenal, but he could still be brought to the Emirates and given the same chance to develop as compatriot Saliba was when he moved from Ligue 1 in 2019.
Davide Bartesaghi

Multiple reports have suggested Davide Bartesaghi is one of the players Arteta's side are monitoring this month with the Italian defender on Arsenal's list of targets.
AC Milan are looking to secure the defender's future as they are concerned with the Gunners' interest so it could come down to the player's decision over whether he remains with the club he has spent over 10 years with or if he moves to the Premier League.
Arsenal are well stocked with left backs. Riccardo Calafiori, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Piero Hincapié are all capable of playing in the position so Bartesaghi would have plenty of competition if he did make the move. However, he has been compared to Calafiori and his profile appeals greatly to the Gunners, making a transfer quite possible.
Jean-Matteo Bahoya

A versatile attacker capable of playing on the left, up top and as a number 10, Jean-Matteo Bahoya is another name on Arsenal's list.
He has scored three goals and provided one assist in 22 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt across all competitions this season with his abilities and performances on the pitch helping him attract interest from the north London outfit.
With Bahoya under contract until 2029, the Gunners would need to make a convincing offer if they are to pry him away from Frankfurt so a move this month isn't guaranteed.
Kenan Yıldız

As his contract negotiations with Juventus have hit a bump in the road, Kenan Yıldız has attracted interest from Arsenal.
Jorge Mendes has been tasked with finding the Turkey international potential suitors and the Gunners are said to be among the sides to have made contact with the agent.
Yıldız would provide Arteta's side with plenty of cover, with his ability to play across the front line a great potential asset, but he would be costly as his current deal does not expire until 2029 and is valued at €75m.
