Arsenal are currently a goal down against PSG in the Champions League semifinal. Understandably, there's that "same old Arsenal" feeling among the fans.
Arsenal headed into the 2nd leg against PSG in need of a win. After going a goal down early into the tie at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners needed a stronger start against the Parisians in ther own backyard.
And, in truth, Arsenal started brightly. The Gunners brought the game to PSG early on, with plenty of chances in the opening ten minutes. It was clear that Arsenal weren't scared of PSG, and they weren't going to roll over and accept defeat.
Thomas Partey turned into Thomas Brady with his incredible long throw-in routine. It showed that Arsenal were looking to capitalise in any way they could, and in fairness, this improvised set piece routine caused some dangerous moments.
Arsenal fans fume as Champions League final now hangs by a thread
However, PSG were brilliant in defence and between the sticks. The strong defending style granted PSG the opportunity to break, and boy did they break.
A moment of absolute brilliance from Fabian Ruiz on the edge of the box, who connected with the ball better than his home WiFi network, set the Gunners 2-0 down on aggregate.
Heading into this match, Arsenal were warned about conceding the first goal. There was a growing feeling before a ball was kicked that the first goal would decide this tie and unfortunately for Arsenal, that goal was scored by PSG.
Arsenal cannot keep dominating games without scoring. Top teams will always punish that.

Now, should fans rule Arsenal out of the Champions League final? No, of course not. There are still 45 minutes of football to be played, as a minimum. The Gunners have come back from behind before, and they can do it again.
However, luck is required here. Unfortunately, Gianluigi Donnarumma is in the form of his life, and doesn't look like giving anything away to Arsenal. We'll more than happily eat our words if he does, though.
Arsenal: better at scoring from set-pieces than defending them. Gabriel's absence is hurting #AFC.
