There are already a lot of things going Arsenal's way for the upcoming North London derby.
Arsenal have a few injury returnees, they are on good form, and they are also the best defensive team in the world.
For Tottenham fans, even their legends are saying that a win is written in the stars for their neighbours, so it must not be the best feeling in the world.
The gap between the two rivals keeps increasing every passing season, however, that does not mean Arsenal will take this game lightly.
If anything, it will push them to go for a victory even more, because form does not matter as much in these type of games as it does for others.
Regardless, there is one player who is returning that could improve Arsenal's chances of winning by a lot, and in doing that, it will frustrate Tottenham star Mohammed Kudus.
Riccardo Calafiori is epected to be available despite the injury issues he faced while away on international duty with Italy.
So, he is expected to start at left-back, and will go up against Kudus, who, although is a very good player on his day, is not in the best of forms.
Mohammed Kudus will have a hard time against Riccardo Calafiori
What will definitely make it worse is that Calafiori is one of the best defensive full-backs in the entire league, and is a different level compared to the player who was supposed to be starting in his place if he was injured - Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Lewis-Skelly is not bad, by any means. He is an exceptional player with loads of potential.
However, he is not a natural defender, and he has a lot to work on before he reaches Calafiori's defensive level.
When fit, the Italian raises the floor of this Arsenal team. So, to have him go up against a freakishly athletic, smart winger like Kudus can only be a gain for the Gunners.
For Kudus, on the other hand, it is not a good sign. He may still have a good game, as he usually plays well in big games.
However, the chances of that happening are a bit low now because of how astute Calafiori is defensively.
Despite not scoring that many goals - only one so far - Kudus has actually been more involved in Spurs' attack than everyone thinks.
Despite this amaizng bit of news for Arsenal, they will need to be wary of the threat that Kudus can cause any day of the week. As said before - form does not really matter that much in these fixtures.
