The end of the summer transfer window is in sight and Arsenal have done plenty of business throughout the last few months, but still have some work to do.

Mikel Arteta's side have spent around £250million over the course of the window to bring the likes of Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze to the club. With seven players joining the first team squad, outgoings have been expected, but the Gunners have not sanctioned many departures.

Nuno Tavares, Marquinhos and Karl Hein are the only senior players to have left since the start of the summer despite a number of squad members being linked with moves away from north London. As Arsenal work on selling more deadwood and potentially making more additions to the side, here's what to expect in the final days of the transfer window.

Outgoings

There are five players that could secure a move away from the Gunners before the transfer window slams shut.

Following an impressive end to last season, Jakub Kiwior has attracted interest from several clubs throughout the window with Porto reported to be the most advanced suitor. Talks over a loan move with an obligation to buy have taken place, but Arsenal want to secure a replacement before sanctioning the deal.

Crystal Palace are currently in discussions to sign Reiss Nelson on a permanent deal after Fulham walked away from a potential move. The Eagles could secure the winger's services for a fee in the region of £15m.

Fabio Vieira has been linked to VfB Stuttgart and West Ham with the former the favourites to sign him. Talks around a move to the Bundesliga side have been centered on a loan deal, but reports on that have gone quiet over the past week.

Oleksandr Zinchenko and Albert Sambi Lokonga have had less interest than their fellow teammates throughout the window. Some have claimed Porto are interested in the Ukrainian, but there has been no real concrete evidence while Lokonga is yet to attract any serious suitors. It is possible the pair could still be part of the Gunners squad once the window has closed.

Some academy players such as Ismael Kabia, Charles Sagoe Jr and Maldini Kaccuri could leave the club on loan.

Incomings

Arsenal's heavy business throughout the entirety of the transfer window has meant they can relax ahead of its closure next Monday. However, they could still add one more player to the squad.

The Gunners are reported to be working on a deal to sign defender Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen, but that depends on certain circumstances. He is viewed as a replacement for Kiwior meaning a move will likely line up with the Poland international's impending transfer to Porto.

Leverkusen want Hincapie's €60m release clause to be paid in full, but Arsenal are looking to pay under that. The Ecuadorian is keen on moving to north London so this could help Arteta's side in getting a deal done.

The addition of a left winger looked possible, but those rumours have died down in recent days. Eberechi Eze's signing was confirmed last week and he is capable of playing in the position so could be viewed as cover. Despite this, there could be room for some late drama in the final days.
