Arsenal face Tottenham on Sunday for the season's first edition of the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal come into the game on a 14 match unbeaten streak, stretching back to their 1-0 loss to Liverpool in August. Their last match, a 2-2 draw with Sunderland before the international break, was frustrating, but they are still comfortable at the top of the Premier League table, being three points clear of Chelsea.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have had a topsy-turvy start to the season, winning a bunch of games away from home, but faltering at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on more than one occasion. Spurs' last match was also a 2-2 draw, which took place at home against Manchester United.

Here's our preview of the game.

Arsenal team news

Mikel Arteta has been fairly quiet on Victor Gyokeres' injury and whether he would be able to play against Tottenham. It was the same for both Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke, as Arteta seems to be keeping his cards close to his chest.

Defender Gabriel is out for the game, as he picked up a groin injury that will keep him away from action for up to two months.

Riccardo Calafiori is expected to play, according to Fabrizio Romano, but the Italian defender has yet to train since returning from international duty with an injury.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Tottenham: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Mosquera, Calafiori; Rice, Zubimendi, Eze; Saka, Merino, Trossard

Tottenham team news

The team news is much better for Tottenham than it was for their rivals. Thomas Frank confirmed a number of returnees for the big game on Sunday. Randal Kolo Muani has been training with the team with a protection mask, while Pape Sarr, Lucas Bergvall are also guaranteed to return.

Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, Archie Gray, Kota Takai and Radu Dragusin have all trained before the derby as well.

Predicted Tottenham lineup vs Arsenal: Vicario, Porro, Romero Van de Ven, Udogie; Palhinha, Bentancur, Sarr; Kudus, Kolo Muani, Simons

Arsenal vs Tottenham score prediction

Arsenal come into the game as the best defensive team in Europe by some margin, and have also been able to score a fair few amount of goals this season.

Even without Gabriel, they should be defensively astute enough to not get punished by the Tottenham attack.

Tottenham have been great away from home, but this might be too big a test for them to get any points.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham
