Every Arsenal signing from summer 2026 ranked from worst to best (one month later)

With the transfer window close to being a month behind us, Arsenal's summer signings have had plenty of time to settle in at their new club with most showing their brilliance during their first set of matches.

The Gunners brought in four new players over the course of the transfer window, and while they were successful in bolstering their squad depth, their failure to sign a marquee attacker prompted questions about their ability to defend their Premier League title.

Regardless, nothing can be changed about Arsenal's summer business and a month after we initially ranked their signings, we've taken another look at where they stand.

4. Illan Meslier

Illan Meslier was Arsenal's first summer arrival, but seeing as he was brought in to be a third-choice goalkeeper, it is no surprise that he is yet to play a competitive minute for his new club.

With that taken into consideration, he should is ranked as the worst of the signings, perhaps very fairly too.

3. Christos Tzolis

Now the remaining three is where it gets pretty tricky because each of them have had good starts to life at the club, but Christos Tzolis is the one to be ranked third.

The Greek winger has impressed with four assists in his first eight appearances for the Gunners, but there have been some flaws to his game.

He failed to make an impact against Aston Villa and Brighton which showed that while he clearly is a brilliant talent, he may not be at the stage in his career where he can be relied on to be Arsenal's best performing left winger week in, week out.

2. Bruno Guimarães

Having been gradually introduced to the Arsenal team following some fitness issues after signing, Bruno Guimarães has looked really good in his first six appearances for the club.

He struck a crucial goal in stunning fashion in a 2-0 win away to Sunderland and has put in some top performances in the midfield so far.

Guimarães did struggle against Brighton though which has prompted some to think that he may not actually be capable of playing alongside Declan Rice. There is still a long way to go for the Brazilian however.

1. Ezri Konsa

When reports of Arsenal's interest in Ezri Konsa first came to light, many fans felt that he was an unnecessary addition with the club already well stocked in top quality defenders. The England international has proven them wrong.

As William Saliba continues his recovery from a long-term back injury, Konsa has slotted perfectly into the centre back pairing with Gabriel and has looked solid in each of his appearances so far.

The only negative from his time was his performance at Brighton, but with that being a collective for the whole team, it shouldn't take anything away from his start to life in North London.
