Arsenal's start to the 2025-26 season was really good, but it feels like with time, it has gotten even better.

Arsenal started off the season with a neat defensive record that just kept getting better and better as the season went on.

Soon after, injuries started to hit Mikel Arteta and the rest of the Gunners like a truck, but even then, Arsenal stayed strong and somehow improved on their record.

They started beating the best teams in the world week in, week out, and now, they are considered to be the favorites to win the Premier League, as well as being one of the top three candidates to win the Champions League, too.

This has potential to be an all-time season, and it comes down to many, many players who are playing their role perfectly this season.

One of them is Leandro Trossard. No matter how many minutes he plays, he always gives his all after every game.

Trossard has been a good addition to this Arsenal side ever since he joined the club, and these last two seasons, he has turned up when Arsenal have needed him.

Especially recently, with Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli out injured, Trossard was performing well in every single game to keep the team afloat.

Mikel Arteta gives a positive injury update on an underrated Arsenal player

He went off injured in the second half of the game against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, and looked set to miss at least some games due to the injury.

However, as Arteta confirmed in the presser on Friday, Trossard's injury is not serious at all.

In fact, he may even be available for the game against Chelsea on Sunday.

He said: “Trossard’s injury doesn’t look like a long or serious one.

“There is another test today. We have to see how he's feeling. There is a potential chance to be available for Chelsea."

That is excellent news for Arsenal fans.

Trossard's return is not a desparate need for Arsenal at the moment, purely because of the return of Madueke and Martinelli. However, it would still be greatly beneficial for Arsenal if he is able to play.

Of course, if there is a chance of aggravating the injury, then Arteta should and would definitely keep the Belgian winger out for at least that game, but if there are no risks, then there is no doubt that Trossard will contribute positively to the team if he does end up playing.

Whatever happens, though, Arsenal fans better put some respect on Trossard's name. He always turns up when it matters most, against the club's rivals as well as the biggest teams in Europe, and he better be as appreciated as he deserves to be.
