14. Aaron Ramsdale (88 appearances)
Aaron Ramsdale is the best post-Wenger goalkeeper. Certainly, he enjoyed a great series of appearances under Mikel Arteta before the 2023/24 season, when David Raya displaced him in the starting eleven.
Looking purely at the player himself without the Raya comparison, Ramsdale is much-loved at the Emirates Stadium as he was one of the catalysts to returning Arsenal to the Champions League.
13. Nicolas Pepe (93 appearances)
As the club-record signing at the time, people expected big things of Nicolas Pepe. Unfortunately, the Ivory Coast international never lived up to those expectations. He was an excellent footballer who clearly had an abundance of technical ability. However, he lacked the cutting edge and end product, rendering him useless to most matches.
Mikel Arteta did try to get the best out of Pepe, as displayed by his 93 appearances for Arsenal, but it wasn't to be. Definitely, it's fair to label Pepe a "flop transfer".
