Arsenal come up against Bolton in the EFL Cup Third Round. Here are 6 players who could make their full debut for Arsenal vs Bolton.

Without a doubt, Mikel Arteta will want to rotate this squad tonight. He will return to EFL Cup action for the first time this season and the match comes after a hectic away schedule.

Within the space of one week, Arsenal faced Tottenham Hotspur, Atalanta and Man City, all three matches away from home. Now, there is finally time to recoup.

The EFL Cup is not a competition which has served Arsenal well. It's not the end of the world, given the relatively small size of the competition. Last season, the Gunners crashed out in the fourth round.

Here are 6 Arsenal players expected to make their full Arsenal debuts against Bolton...

1. Jack Porter

Starting off between the sticks, 16-year-old Arsenal goalkeeper Jack Porter could be handed the opportunity of a lifetime to start his first Arsenal match.

David Raya appeared to be uncomfortable against Man City, so there is risk of injury there. However, even without injury, it would be a good idea to rest Raya, given how much work he's put in recently.

Karl Hein is out on loan, Tommy Setford could be injured and Neto is cup-tied, meaning an opportunity for an Arsenal debut could hand itself to the Hale End star.

2. Ayden Heaven

As a regular for Arsenal throughout pre-season, Ayden Heaven should be licking his lips at the prospect of a full Arsenal debut tonight.

Heaven is a promising young player who is able to play a few different positions. His strongest position is at centre-back, which works in Arsenal's favour considering their need to rest William Saliba and Gabriel.

Heaven is expected to have a big season for Arsenal and it's within games like this where he can really make a name for himself. Arsenal fans will be rooting for him to make his first professional start.

3. Myles Lewis-Skelly

Hilariously, Myles Lewis-Skelly picked up his first Premier League booking before his first Premier League minutes at the weekend.

He was trusted in a massive game against Man City, which assumingly sets him up for a start in this match. Lewis-Skelly, like Heaven, is a versatile player, which works in his favour.

At the weekend, Lewis-Skelly was used to add numbers to the defence. We believe this is where he will start in midweek, in an inverted full-back role.

4. Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand

Arsenal fans need no reminding of Martin Odegaard's injury. So, Mikel Arteta will make changes to his midfield, with the hoped of resting key players for Premier League action.

Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand is yet to make his full Arsenal debut. The midfielder turned 21 years old in the summer, so this season could be last-chance-saloon for him.

Certainly, he should be given a chance to prove himself to Mikel Arteta. It is in the Spanish boss' best interest to start him, given key absences in the midfield.

5. Ethan Nwaneri

Ethan Nwaneri is a common name among Arsenal fans now. In fact, the fanbase is incredibly excited by him, lauding him as the next best Hale End graduate.

However, Ethan Nwaneri is surprisingly yet to make his first Arsenal start. Therefore, it's written in the stars for him to make his first senior start tonight.

Ethan Nwaneri has made some great cameos from the bench. He is a technically gifted midfielder with a great burst of pace and ability to weave his way out of congested areas.

6. Raheem Sterling

The oldest of the bunch of debutants, Raheem Sterling's position in the starting lineup is essentially nailed on. Leandro Trossard is suspended, meaning a space has opened up for the on-loan Chelsea star.

Raheem Sterling has won this competition five times, so he will be excited to return to action. He also played in the last final but because he played for Chelsea, naturally lost.
