Declan Rice is a figure of interest at Arsenal currently. The England international, currently involved in Lee Carsley's squad, is suspended from Arsenal, due to a red card he picked up vs Brighton.

This means that Declan Rice will be out of action for the North London derby, set to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the current international break.

So, for once, Arsenal fans won't mind seeing Declan Rice in action for England. Fans can only hope that he doesn't become injured, which would obviously rub salt into the wounds they already have.

Declan Rice joins Bukayo Saka on international duty. Unsurprisingly, Ben White and Raheem Sterling were not involved in the squad, both for different reasons.

Raheem Sterling has not played for England since 2022 but he could certainly play a role in the upcoming North London derby. It would be quite the time to pick up his Arsenal debut, after all.

Arsenal recently unveiled some important news involving Raheem Sterling, cementing his squad number for the season ahead. Raheem Sterling will wear the number 30 jersey at Arsenal.

Raheem Sterling posted to his Instagram, revealing the news of his new number 30. He posed in all three Arsenal jerseys, looking equally as dashing in all of them, it must be said.

Declan Rice, who is never the type to shy away from hyping up his teammates, has the most liked comment as things stand. Rice commented a three word response, simply saying "They ain't ready."

Hopefully, Declan Rice's comment prevails and Sterling proves too much for Tottenham to deal with. It is the fixture most Arsenal fans look forward to and Sterling has a great history of facing Tottenham.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Englishman, on loan from Chelsea, starts for Arsenal away from home against Tottenham. It would be unlikely, given his squad role. However, he could definitely be involved from the bench, should the game require his introduction.

Raheem Sterling is a great dribbler of the ball. With his trademark low centre of gravity, he can often shimmy his way out of trouble and find himself in promising positions.

Particularly under Mikel Arteta's tactical philosophy at Man City, Sterling also shown a keen desire to cut inside and be involved in the goal-scoring. Arsenal would never turn their noses up at this.
