Defenders

William Saliba - Keep. One of the best defenders in the world - Next.

Gabriel - Keep. Arsenal already proved that Saliba's partner Gabriel is invaluable, making him a mainstay in the starting eleven. He's been Arsenal's best defender this season.

Jurrien Timber - Keep. Next season will be Timber's breakthrough, since he has missed the entirety of this season through injury. It will be a welcomed boost for Mikel Arteta to have him back and fit next season.

Jakub Kiwior - Keep. Shown positive signs of life this season, that will only continue in the new campaign.

Ben White - Keep. Since the turn of 2024, White has been one of the most impressive Arsenal players. He's not bad for a player who doesn't watch football, is he?

Takehiro Tomiyasu - Keep. The Japan international will hope to remain injury-free next season as he was showing positive signs of making the first team before his mid-season rule-out (of course, playing on international duty didn't help that).

Oleksandr Zinchenko - Sell. Having only spent two seasons with Arsenal, it seems bizarre to discard ZInchenko already. However, Arsenal are going down a more defensive route, which doesn't suit Zinchenko at all since it exposes his weaknesses.

Cedric Soares - Sell. Arsenal won't get any money out of Soares, given that his contract expires this year. Fans will just be thankful he's finally gone.
