Morgan Rogers has been heavily linked with Arsenal recently. He would no doubt strengthen Arsenal's title-winning side to defend their title. Mikel Arteta will have to be ruthless in fielding his strongest lineup with Rogers in it.

Arsenal's best attack with Morgan Rogers has already taken shape

  • Right-wing: Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has been troubled with an Achilles problem recently. However, Thomas Tuchel has insisted that he is ready for England. Arsenal fans will be hoping that he does not aggravate his injury and is fit for the upcoming season.

Saka's last campaign was disrupted by multiple injuries. However, he is Arsenal's 'Star Boy' and has the ability to make a difference in games.

  • Atacking-midfielder: Morgan Rogers

It would be a ruthless decision for Arteta to start Rogers ahead of Martin Odegaard in the attacking midfield role. However, Odegaard was individually poor last season with just one Premier League goal. Rogers, on the other hand, scored 10 for Aston Villa.

Whilst Rogers can also play on the left, his favored position is through the middle. He is even rivaling Jude Bellingham for the starting spot in attacking midfield for England. Arteta cannot afford to make sentimental decisions when choosing to play Odegaard just because he is the club captain.

  • Left-wing: Leandro Trossard

Rogers could play on the left with Odegaard through the middle. However, it would be sensible for Arteta to use his players in their favored positions. Whilst Leandro Trossard has been linked with the Saudi Pro League and Turkish Super Lig recently, he still had a very good season with Arsenal.

The Belgian scored eight goals with 11 assists in 50 games across all competitions. This included setting up Kai Havertz's goal in the Champions League final. Trossard is now 31, and Arteta also currently has Gabriel Martinelli at his disposal. Martinelli did not have the best of seasons domestically, but was prolific in Europe, where he scored six times.

The left-wing position is what now needs strengthening at Arsenal. They have been linked with Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain and the young prodigy, Leicester City's Jeremy Monga.

  • Striker: Viktor Gyokeres

Viktor Gyokeres overall had a successful first season back in English soccer. Fans were expecting him to score 20+ Premier League goals. He managed just 14, but was never going to be as prolific as he was for Sporting CP.

Right now, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are Arsenal's backup options up front. However, they are both injury-prone. It would be worth the Gunners signing some better competition for Gyokeres.
